The 2022 County General Election will be held in Maury County, Tennessee on August 4, 2022. It will be held concurrently with Republican and Democratic Party primaries for state and federal offices.
The following offices will appear on the general election ballot:
- County Mayor
- Sheriff
- County Trustee
- County Clerk
- Register of Deeds
- Circuit Court Clerk of Maury County, Tennessee
- Maury County Commission Members (currently two members from each district; districts to be redrawn in 2021)
- Maury County School Board (odd districts only; districts to be redrawn in 2021)
- Maury County Constables (one from each district; districts to be redrawn in 2021)
- Judicial races (as necessary).
The statewide primary election held concurrently will include races for Governor of Tennessee, Tennessee General Assembly and for United States House of Representatives (districts will be redrawn in 2021 or 2022).
The qualifying deadline for these races will depend on whether there are party primaries called:
- For parties that do not hold a May primary to determine nominees for the August 2022 election, nominating petitions must be filed by 12 p.m. (noon) Central Daylight Time on Thursday, April 7, 2022.[1]
- For parties that do hold a May primary, nominating petitions must be filed by noon on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Note that neither the Democrats nor Republicans held a May primary election in Maury County in 2018.[2]
