The Duck River is a scenic river in Middle Tennessee that flows generally from the southeast to the northwest. It is the longest river that is entirely within the boundaries of Tennessee, and flows for over 260 miles through seven counties. It is a tributary of the Tennessee River and its waters drain into the Ohio River , Mississippi River and Gulf of Mexico. The Duck River bisects Maury County and flows through downtown Columbia.[1]
